“Vanessa Goes to the Doctor” was created by the National LGBT Cancer Network as part of our LGBT cultural competence curriculum, the video contrasts LGBT-affirming and unwelcoming practices in a medical practice. The style imitates 1950’s instructional videos, making the content lessons easy to absorb in a lighthearted, unthreatening, yet powerful manner.
